REVIEW : CHASING RIVER by K.A. TUCKER

Armed with two years' worth of savings and the need to experience life outside the bubble of her Oregon small town, twenty-five-year old Amber Welles is prepared for anything. Except dying in Dublin.  Had it not been for the bravery of a stranger, she might have. But he takes off before she has the chance to offer her gratitude.

Twenty-four-year-old River Delaney is rattled. No one was supposed to get hurt. But then that American tourist showed up. He couldn't let her die, but he also couldn’t risk being identified at the scene—so, he ran. Back to his everyday life of running his family’s pub.  Only, everyday life is getting more and more complicated, thanks to his brother, Aengus, and his criminal associations. When the American girl tracks River down, he quickly realizes how much he likes her, how wrong she is for him.  And how dangerous it is to have her around. Chasing her off would be the smart move.

Maybe it's because he saved her life, or maybe it's because he's completely different from everything she's left behind, but Amber finds herself chasing after River Delaney. Amber isn’t the kind of girl to chase after anyone.

And River isn't the kind of guy she'd want to catch.
KA Tucker takes us to Dublin, Ireland where American tourist Amber Welles (yes, remember Jesse Welles sister from Burying Water?) have 2 years worth of savings ready to explore the world outside her small town in Oregon. While trying to catch her tour she took a path across a garden and everything changed when an explosion happened and sexy, hot, mysterious Irish pub owner/bartender River Delaney came out of no where and saved her.

I love this style of writing of the author, i mean her books are my favorites I think they are well written and well researched. I have nothing against those books with lots of steamy scenes with a hot badass guy I love them and I read them but what set KA Tucker apart is that her style is unique and she always elevate her books and that makes her stories exciting you dont know whats gonna happen. This series is involved with some illegal stuff but it is considerably light yet will still give you a thrill.

I am a happy ever after girl and i just wish i know if River can go to the US or Amber will finally decide to move in Ireland. Im hoping for a novella or like an epilogue.

But still a 5 star rating for me!
